About ‘I Vote for Art’
‘i vote for art’ is an online gallery and store, where people can buy art as well as vote for their favourite artwork. It was launched in May 2008, with the simple goal of providing a place online for good people to find good artwork ... in a price range that doesn’t break the bank.
‘i vote for art’ is based in Melbourne, Australia. It was founded by Ben Rowe, who receives more than his fair share of support from wife, Stacey.

The Artwork
‘i vote for art’ has a terrific range of affordable artwork from over 50 talented artists from Australia and all over the world. You can see the full list of artists here.
If you’d like, you can receive updates via our RSS feed whenever new artwork becomes available on our site.
At the time of writing, we have 200 unique artworks on the site. We add new artwork every week or so.
Broadly speaking, the artwork we sell is modern/contemporary. We have a lot of illustration work, some with a more commerical / graphic design edge, and you might call some of it pop art, pop surrealism, or lowbrow art. It’s probably not the sort of place your Grandma buys her art from. But hey, you can’t please everybody.

The website has a terrific range of affordable artwork from talented artists from all over the world. You can sign up to sell your own work but it must go through an approval process ... a good thing for a gallery site starting off as it keeps quality standards higher.
